Verdant Exchange | 绿意盎然
The “Verdant Exchange” project aims to address issues at the Red Bird Makerspace such as poor air quality, unreasonable space layout, poor interactivity, and lack of aesthetics in the office environment. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, modular plant configuration is adopted, an intelligent mini-program is developed, and elaborate UI design is carried out. The project covers interior design and service design, providing users with a variety of green plants and flowers to choose from. At the same time, a detailed budget analysis of the project’s one-time investment and continuous investment is carried out, aiming to create a green, intelligent, and comfortable office space. The construction has been completed on the 5th floor of the W1 Building at HKUST(GZ). I would like to thank my teammates, Miaowei XI (MPhil Student in Intelligent Transportation) and Nan SU (MPhil Student in Innovation, Policy and Entrepreneurship), as well as the manager of the makerspace, Shuyi Zhao!
Canal ABC - Agricultural Bay symbiosis with Creativity
With the decline of the water-transport of the Grand Canal, the relative position of the canal shifted from marginalization to centralization during urban expansion, and the daily activities and culture of the canal homeland gradually declined. How to reshape the canal through urban design and make it the resilient framework of city? Replying to this issue and concept “symbiosis”, the design focus on the conflicts between canals and cities form city scale, neighborhood scale and human scale.

Construction Festival | 建造节
Harbin Institute of Technology was established in 1920, during a time when the field of civil engineering was heavily influenced by the dominant forces of Russia. The architectural design of this establishment drew inspiration from the iconic work of Russian Constructivism in the same year, known as the “Monument to the Third International.” Embracing the spirit of innovation, it employed two intertwined and nested circular forms as its architectural elements, with structural designs reminiscent of sturdy steel trusses, reminiscent of the charm found in the Harbin Binjiang Railway Bridge. As the construction ascends from the ground, it gradually transcends the realm of solidity and embraces ethereal qualities. Under the caress of sunlight, a tapestry of mottled light and shadow dances enchantingly, creating an ethereal allure known as “Ethereal Shadows.”
Beishi in Minecraft | Minecraft 北实复原计划
This project commenced in July 2016, during a period of ennui in my home, as I was about to embark on my high school journey. I embarked on an exploration, employing the Minecraft game as a means to reconstruct real campus settings, employing Guangdong Beijiang Experimental School(广东北江实验学校) as a representative example. Through numerous alterations to the Minecraft archive, this project finally saw the light of day after my completion of university studies and mastery of rendering software. If you find yourself captivated by this reconstructed campus environment, please do not hesitate to contact me!
